- When I say that I study digital forensics, people often look at me strangely. On the course, we learn to carry out investigative work, but we also learn about prevention in the same way as those who study cyber security, she says.
The online student found the job through finn.no and applied for the position. She had to go through an application process that was divided into three rounds before she got the job as Solutions Consultant at Tietoevry.
- The first round consisted of playing a few online games to map out my personal characteristics. The second round involved short interviews of 10-15 minutes, with the specialized businesses that were interested in me. In the last round, I had a longer interview of an hour with the department that wanted to hire me.
During the application process, Chloé found that much of what she had learned was directly relevant to working life. During her studies, she has visited a wide range of topics within the industry. When she was looking for a job, she was suddenly faced with a choice, as the study covers both technical and strategic topics, she now had the opportunity to choose which direction she wanted to go.
- Personally, I have developed an interest in strategic matters such as laws and regulations, and therefore wanted to further develop myself in this field, she says.

Chloé was in a situation where she did not have the opportunity to attend classes physically, online studies were therefore her opportunity to be able to continue her schooling. She says that she has experienced that studying online works well.
