The first semester of the programme provides a practical understanding of principles, methods and introduces tools for creating innovative service designs. You will receive extensive training in identifying user problems that require new solutions, and learn how to gather insights to generate new ideas. Based on ideation, you will develop your skills in creating concepts and prototypes for testing. Visualisation and drawing methods are central to designing services and creating customer journey blueprints.
The second semester builds on this foundation and focuses on applying your skills in more advanced projects. You will learn to plan and facilitate workshops, a key tool for bringing new service designs to life. Writing service proposals and carrying out service planning for future projects is also a key component of this semester.
Each semester involves working on a substantial project with interim submissions. Both semesters conclude with a final submission and assessment of the project you have worked on.
