Mrs. Natasha Sexton, CA(SA), has been a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) since 2005. She began her career at KPMG, gaining valuable corporate experience before transitioning into academia.
She has more than a decade of teaching experience in accounting and auditing at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. At Noroff, she is involved in the DASM programs, focusing on accounting and business analytics.
Her research focuses on curriculum renewal and the development of evolving pedagogies to prepare accounting students for the future. She has also examined the limitations of international auditing standards in addressing control risks for SMEs operating in computerized environments, and has developed a comprehensive approach for audit firms to help mitigate these risks.
Natasha’s excellence in teaching, collaborative teaching practices, and subject-specific research in auditing has been recognized through several awards.
