Programme information

The program starts with an in-depth exploration of technical workflows. This includes recording and post-production processes. You will learn fundamental aspects such as camera techniques, basic storytelling principles, and proficiency in editing software. After the foundational phase, the production process is examined in detail. This highlights the various roles within the filmmaking realm and emphasizes the collaborative dynamics that are indispensable for successful film production. The curriculum emphasizes practical application, allowing participants to gain hands-on experience by functioning as a cohesive film team engaged in the creation of films across various genres.

In the second year of the program, students focus on their preferred specialization, selecting from three distinct options:

  1. Manuscript - Direction - Producer
  2. Photo - Light
  3. Editing - Sound

While the majority of instruction is delivered in a shared format, the program also integrates subject-specific lectures and workshops tailored to each specialisation. Second-year participants have the chance to create a variety of projects, such as episodic films, fiction films, commercials, music videos, commissioned films, and self-selected art films. During the program, students collaborate across disciplines with peers from sound and music production. This facilitates joint efforts in sound design and film music. The interdisciplinary approach equips participants with a holistic skill set, preparing them for a seamless transition into professional careers within the film industry.
