Why Study UX Design?

UX design, or user experience design, is about improving the overall experience a human user has with a digital product, service or system. These interactions aim to maximise the user's sense of achievement while minimising frustration.

You will learn to create interactions with users that are both personal and intuitive, focusing on building a deeper understanding of users. This includes their shared values, abilities, needs and limitations.

The main aim of the programme is to give you practical skills, and the curriculum consists largely of hands-on work with industry-related tasks. After completing the programme, you will be able to work in both Norwegian and international companies specialising in product and service development, universal design, information design and x-reality. Companies are constantly adapting to developing technology, which makes the job descriptions dynamic.

Career Opportunities

Upon completing UX design programme, you can pursue roles such as:

  • UX Designer
