Students will receive a practical, applicable, and industry-adapted education that is always closely linked to the business world.

Through hands-on teaching, you will be prepared for a career in the industry. Noroff has established strong ties to local businesses and the regional business community, and continuously works to create opportunities for our students to obtain internships and job opportunities after completing their education.

I think Kristiansand is a great student city, both for locals and newcomers. Marita Berge Næss, student
The best thing about studying on campus is the people who are there. Siri Høyås, student

Noroff Kristiansand is located in the Slottsquartalet, at the end of Markensgate. The campus is urban and modern, with spacious group rooms, classrooms, a canteen, and social meeting places. Just outside the door, you will find cafes, restaurants, shops, swimming areas, and hiking opportunities.

As a student in Kristiansand, you can walk or cycle to most attractions, but there are also good bus connections just outside the campus that take you to and from the city center in about ten minutes. You can take the bus to, for example, Sørlandssenteret, Dyreparken, or Kjevik Airport.

Students who move to Kristiansand can apply for a free bus pass. Read more here.

Kristiansand is Norway's sixth-largest student city and was not without reason on Studentum's top list of Norway's best student cities in 2023.

Noroff Kristiansand is a member of the Student Welfare Organization in Agder (SiA), and as a Noroff student, you can participate in student events.

All of the educational programmes at Noroff have been approved by the Norwegian Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (NOKUT) and have been approved for student loans and grants by the Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund (Statens Lånekasse for utdanning).

We welcome you as a student to Noroff Kristiansand!

Student participation at Noroff

Student participation is important to Noroff. There are many decision areas where students are represented and our students get to decide who represents them in the various forums. All students are eligible for elections.

Noroff Vocational School is an educational organization with campuses in several cities, but all of Noroff is headed by one Board. The Board consists of five members, of which students are entitled to have one representative, and the employees are entitled to have one representative.

Shortly after the semester starts in August, a new student representative to the Board of Noroff Vocational School is elected. The student representative will on behalf of all vocational school students at Noroff advocate for them and is thus an important participant in all decisions concerning the school.

Participating in board meetings is an experience we highly recommend. In practice, one learns a lot about business and school management.

If you are interested in being a candidate for the Board of Noroff Vocationasl School, we recommend that you contact the rector of your campus.
