In January, The Competence Development Fund of Southern Norway (CDFSN) decided to distribute 17,562,750 million kroners to 36 different projects in Vest-Agder County.

The fund chose to continue their support to Noroff University College, and contributes with one million kroners.

Important support

The Competence Development Fund of Southern Norway shall contribute to raising the level of competence in the county of Vest-Agder in order to secure jobs and good living conditions. - We are very grateful for the support from the CDFSN. It is a major economic challenge attached to starting up a new college. We need to prepare facilities and equipment before we can receive the final approval from the authorities. Without this support from the CDFSN, it would be an impossible project for Noroff alone, says Principal and Director of Noroff, Ari Mathiesen.

New College in Kristiansand

Noroff University College is now offering Bachelor programs in Digital Forensics and Interactive Media, starting this autumn. - The money in this grant will be used to prepare for the first class starting this fall, says Mathiesen. With this, Kristiansand gets another college, and the city can offer more study options than before.
