- Trym Skeie can take Noroff forward as a private educational institution in Norway, says Lars Erik Torjussen, who will continue as CEO for the Noroff Group.

In June Noroff AS sold its four secondary schools to Akademiet Utdanning Norge AS, and is now selling Noroff University College AS, Noroff Fagskole (Vocational School) AS and Noroff Drift AS to Trym Skeie's newly created company Noroff Education AS.

Noroff Vocational School has campuses in Kristiansand, Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim and Stavanger, and Noroff University College has its campus in Kristiansand.

New study programs to come

Trym Skeie sees great potential in further developing the companies built by Finn Mathiesen and his family over the last three decades. The Vocational School study programs are today centered around IT programs, 3D programs, design programs, and music and film programs, while the University College offers unique bachelor degrees in digital forensics, and interactive media - animation and games. Over the next few years we will expand our study program portfolio further into IT and technology-oriented areas.

Increased digitization due to new IT technology and increased industrialization in low-cost countries will create major changes in the Norwegian labor market. Future employees will have great need for in-depth IT expertise, on both vocational and university college level.

Noroff will continue to be headquartered in Kristiansand.

Former owner and founder of Noroff, Finn Mathiesen, is very pleased to have a buyer focused on quality in education.
