.NET is Microsoft's development platform with which developers can create games, web applications, mobile applications and more. It contains [ASP.Net] Core which is tailored for the creation of monolithic web applications, and/or web APIs. It is a widespread and heavily supported development platform. .
During this 10-week part-time bootcamp, you will gain versatile skills that enable you to create various back-end solutions to handle data persistence in web applications using the C# programming language.
About the course
Back-end Web Development with .NET introduces you to the fundamentals of C#, how to manage data with collections and objects, and how to read and manipulate data within a database. .
Later, you will learn how to work with object-relational mapping technologies (Entity Framework Core). You will then learn how to build, secure and deploy Restful Web APIs using ASP.NET Core, as well as best practices, design principles, testing, and documentation.
Upon completion, you will have the fundamental working knowledge to use modern web technologies to build comprehensive web servers to serve modern web applications.

Duration and extent: 10 weeks part time (60 hrs lecture, 60 hrs problem solving, 50 hrs self study).
Weekly schedule: Two webinars live online (4 hours in total),. 3-6 hours problem-solving online. 5 hours self-study.

Accelerate courses are unaccredited and therefore not eligible for loans and grants by the Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund.
