Craig van Niekerk is an online teacher at Network and IT security. Craig van Niekerk acquired his Master’s in Information Technology in 2021 from Nelson Mandela University (NMU) in South Africa. He conducted his research on the usability of security within instant messaging applications and his dissertation was titled: Usable Security Heuristics for Instant Messaging Application Development. During his studies at NMU Craig developed his passion for cyber security and believes that the securing of information is a collective responsibility.

Craig developed an interest in education at a young age when assisting his peers with course work to develop a better understanding. This interest lead him to joining Noroff Vocational School in 2022. One of Craigs favourite quotes is from Nelson Mandela “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.
