Sam is a British/Norwegian artist/designer who has worked professionally for over 25 years. He holds a BA in Graphic Design from Solent University, and an MA in Illustration from Falmouth.

Previously, Sam has worked for the British music industry - where he designed record covers and promo material for Universal, Mercury, Sony, EMI, Skint, Poptones and more. In Norway, Sam has worked for a number of advertising agencies, most recently at Clockwork/Schjærven - where he led a motion graphics team.

Sam first started teaching at Norges Kreative Fagskole in 2010, and has since taught at the Winchester School of Art in Dalian, China. From 2013-16 he led the bachelor's program in graphic design at Westerdals, and from 2020-23 he was head of studies for the bachelor's program in product design at OsloMet.
