With over 10 years experience in the creative industry, Amanda's qualifications include the Bachelor Degree in Multimedia at RMIT University (graduating with distinction), the Post-Graduate Diploma in Secondary School Teaching (Victoria University), the Cert. 4 in Training and Assessment and other industry qualifications including the Adobe Creative Suite certification.

Amanda was employed by Method Studios/Iloura in Melbourne Australia from 2016-2018, working on major films which included John Wick Chapter 2, Leftovers, Jumanji, Mary Magdalene, A.X.L, Tomb Raider, Christopher Robin, Aquaman, John Wick Chapter 3, and Punch & Judy to name a few.

In 2019 Amanda made the decision to expand and develop her own business in vfx and compositing and is successfully working on projects for clients around the world which included several USA independent films, a Hallmark feature film, Australian feature films, commercials and music industry clients.

Many shots she works on involve complicated lighting changes, defocus elements, difficult camera moves, compositing elements, set extensions, creating matte painting elements, creating motion design elements, reconstruction, and removing elements.

In 2013 Amanda was a Video Designer for 2 years at Williams Lea/Tag , she designed concepts, filmed on location, utilised green screen and undertook the post production of film and sound projects for corporate clients which included UBS, Price Waterhouse Coopers and Telstra Telecommunications.

Amanda was a lecture trainer for 18 months in 2015 teaching Screen and Game students at a Visual Effects school in Melbourne where she designed and delivered training material in 3D Modelling, Compositing, Maya and Nuke to her adult classes. Amanda has also worked as a part time sessional trainer in IT applications (Website Design, Photoshop) at Victoria University (TAFE). Amanda enjoys teaching and the interaction with students and has always wanted to combine teaching with working in the industry.

One of Amanda's favourite aspects of compositing and visual effects is working with 3D projections to composite matte painting elements. Amanda is currently looking at expanding into FX using Houdini.

Amanda lives in Melbourne Australia with her husband and their two cats. In her spare time she enjoys writing, playing computer games, guitar and violin.
