Agne Budvytyte has always been fascinated by people, psychology, and communication. After several years in the logistics and technology industries, she felt a growing desire to work in a field that combined both logic and human behavior. That’s when she discovered UX design.

UX design is a perfect match for how my mind and emotions work. Agne Budvytyte

– All my life, I’ve been drawn to clarity, communication, and how people respond to things. I notice small details others often miss—tone of voice, behavior, patterns. When I finally understood what UX design really is, it all made perfect sense.

Interestingly, it wasn’t Agne herself who first suggested UX as a career path, it was artificial intelligence.

– I entered my job history into ChatGPT, and every time it suggested UX design. I barely knew what it stood for, but it resonated incredibly well.

Everyday life as an online student

Agne lives in Sweden and needed an education that could be completed online, in English, and without any requirement for physical attendance. She discovered Noroff through Nackademin in Sweden. Studying online in another country has worked out perfectly. Online studies have given her both flexibility and a sense of security.

– The instructors are incredibly clear and very supportive. I feel emotionally safe, seen, and understood. That means a lot, especially in a creative field.

For Agne, student life is about freedom and calm.

– I wake up when I want to, enjoy breakfast in peace, and study from home. But I often work from a library or café as well, just to make the day more inspiring. That flexibility is what makes me thrive.

Learning UX in a digital environment feels completely natural to her.

– UX is about understanding people in digital contexts, and that’s exactly what we’re doing here. I learn by being empathetic, observing reactions, and finding solutions to frustrations.

Collaborating digitally

Working with fellow students has given her valuable experience.

– To be honest, I was a bit surprised by how little responsibility some people take in group work. It made collaboration difficult, and eventually I chose to work mostly on my own. For me, communication and accountability are essential.

Even though the journey hasn’t always been easy, Agne has grown tremendously.

– Discipline is probably what I’ve developed the most. UX combines psychology, research, design, and technology, and it requires patience. I’ve learned that it’s perfectly okay not to understand everything right away.

What she appreciates most about Noroff is both the quality of the program and the human approach.

– I love that the studies are in English, that I can study from anywhere, and that the instructors are so patient. You can really tell that they love what they do.

Looking ahead

For Agne, the goal is clear: she wants to work internationally, creatively, and freely.

– I dream of starting an international UX company where I can collaborate with people from all over the world while traveling. But a remote UX role in a team with strong communication would also be amazing.
