Mechanical Technical Design

As a student, you will gain expertise in producing technical drawings for the mechanical industry according to Norwegian standards. Upon completion of the programme, you will have the opportunity to work as a technical drafter, product developer, CAD technician, or technical consultant.
In mechanical technical design, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of technical drawing and modelling, as well as practical projects and visualisation tasks that will enhance your conceptual skills. Architectural Technical Design
The architectural technical design course is suitable for those interested in technical design and problem solving in key support industries for architecture and construction. Focusing on the production of 3D models, construction drawings, and information flow, this course offers a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise in a practical way. Potential career paths include technical drafter, CAD operator, or BIM operator.
The course includes topics such as 2D drafting, 3D modelling and visualisation, preparing students for a career in technical drafting or further study based on technical knowledge. As a student, you will also undertake visualisation assignments to develop your conceptualisation and presentation skills.
If you wish, you can also apply directly to the second year of the two-year Technical Design - BIM course after completing this one-year programme.
Building Information Modeling (BIM)
The BIM specialisation is a key part of the digital transformation of the construction industry. The course provides a thorough introduction to the building design process and how advanced digital solutions contribute to the development of construction projects at various stages.
