Do you find it difficult to choose between campus and online studies? Then you can have the best of both worlds.

Online PLUS makes it possible for online students at Noroff University College to participate in the physical learning environment at Campus Oslo or Campus Bergen. This applies to all of our university college study programs: Cyber Security, Digital Forenics and Incident Response, Applied Data Science, Digital Assurance and Security Management, Interactive Media – Games and Interactive Media – Animation.

What is Online PLUS?

Online PLUS means that you can be an online student, and at the same time be part of the physical learning environment on Campus Oslo. All teaching and guidance is online. You choose how you want to follow the lessons, whether it's at home, on campus or anywhere in the world.

Choosing to study online at Noroff University College offers numerous benefits and advantages. The lectures are streamed live from the lectures on the campus in Kristiansand. You decide whether you want to see this live or as a recording later. You have the option to pause and watch them again, as many times as you wish. The online studies are designed for anyone who needs more flexibility in their everyday life. As an online student, you gain access to a network of other online students and professionals and receive the same diploma as campus students.

The social aspect of learning is very important to many students. By choosing Online PLUS, you get all the advantages of being an online student, in addition to the opportunity to take part in the physical learning environment on campus.

Campus Oslo has around 450 students, and is located in bright and modern premises in Mølleparken, right by Akerselva. The campus is designed so that students get the most out of their daily studies, with great group rooms, labs and socializing areas. As an Online PLUS student, you will be able to use these during the day, afternoon and evening, as well as at weekends. In addition, you will be able to participate in social events and industry events, so that you can make contacts and meet potential employers.

Campus Bergen has approximately 220 students. In February 2022, Noroff moved into a new campus in Møhlenpris. The new campus is equipped to deliver the technology programmes of the future.

There are many advantages to taking part in a physical learning environment:

Opportunity to participate in group work and discussions

By being part of a physical learning environment, you have the opportunity to participate in group work and discussions, which can be a good way to learn and increase your understanding of the subject.

The social

By being on campus, you get the opportunity to make contact with other students and make new friends, which can help to increase the motivation and enjoyment of learning for many, as well as making your study time a meaningful experience.

Structure and motivation

For some students, it is easier to stay structured and motivated when you can be part of a physical learning environment and be surrounded by other students who are also working purposefully with their studies.

As an Online PLUS student, you will be able to:

  • Use Noroff's campus facilities during the day, afternoon and evening and at weekends
  • Have access to a physical learning environment with great group rooms, lab and social areas
  • Participate in social events organized on the Oslo campus
  • Attend lecturer visits on campus
  • Attend industry events, so you can make contacts and meet potential employers.
  • Join the Student Association in Oslo (SiO) or Bergen (Sammen), and get access to all their offers

Do you want to have a flexible everyday life as an online student, while also having access to the campus, events and a social student life? Then OnlinePLUS will suit you!
