1. Erasmus Charter

NUC applied to become an Erasmus Charter in January 2024, we are waiting for the results of the application. An Erasmus Charter is a quality and regulatory framework for Erasmus+ activities. Being certified includes several requirements and commitment from the institution, and it opens a lot of opportunities for increased internationalisation for both students and staff.

2. Erasmus Policy Statement

3. Erasmus+ APP

The Erasmus+ app contains a lot of information and guidelines for mobility and other Erasmus activities so that you gain as much as possible from your journey.

4. European Student Card

The European Student Card (ESC) is a digital tool that contributes to easier administration and transparency across institutions about your student status in your Erasmus endeavours.

The student card in combination with the app is set to enhance your journey, experience and both on- and off- campus services before, during and after mobility.

5. Erasmus Student Network

Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is a student welfare organisation for students affiliated with Erasmus activities. Please check out their main website: https://esn.org/

There are many local ESN sections too, so be sure to locate a charter near you and your destination: https://esn.org/sections ESN provides a lot of information about mobility and Erasmus in a student-centric approach, which is clearly supported by their mission “Enrichment of society through international students.”

6. Benefits

  • Simplified application process to institutions NUC has exchange agreement with.
  • Apply for scholarship to the country of your travels.
  • No tuition fees attending the host institution, this does not exclude continuing tuition fees to NUC.
  • You often receive help to find accommodation by host institution.
  • The exchange will be pre-approved as part of your degree at NUC, as long as you pass the acknowledged credits.
